(Courtenay) Coastebello 2018 Splash & Dash

With the help of our friends and colleagues, Airspeed High Ultralight Flight School, is
hosting the 2nd annual West Coast Challenger and Ultralight Fly-in. The event is
scheduled for the weekend of September 7-9, 2018, at the Courtenay Airpark, located
in the heart of the beautiful Comox Valley. The theme this year is Splash & Dash. We are planning a group lake hopping flight on Saturday for those flying in on amphibs. If you don’t have a float plane, no worries, we will have fun and interesting presentations to keep you in the flying mood. The weekend will start rolling on Friday evening with a meet & greet BBQ on the deck at the Flight School.There will be great food courtesy of local businesses and flying friends. This is an awesome opportunity to chat with experienced ultralight pilots and, if you’re lucky, hear some good flying stories too!
Challenger demo flights will be available, Saturday and Sunday, weather permitting,
and should be booked at time of registration. Everyone is welcome – Challenger owners, Challenger owner wannabes, Ultralight pilots and owners, and all aviation enthusiasts.
